EDWARDSVILLE — Robert T. Verosky, 89, of Edwardsville, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 in Kingston Health Care Center.
He was born in Edwardsville, son of the late Peter and Florence Verosky. He was a graduate of Edwardsville High School, and served for four years in the U.S. Navy, being known as an atomic veteran from his service in the Bikini Islands during atomic bomb testing. He worked in the construction industry and was a member of Laborers Local 130.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward, John, Vincent and Jerome.
Bob is survived by his sister, Carol and her husband, Lou Cardoni; niece, Jennifer Cardoni; nephew, Eric and his wife, Bruna Cardoni; nephew, Scott Cardoni; nephew, Ed Verosky Jr.; niece, Theresa Verosky; and great nephews, Nicolas and Thomas.
Friends may call Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Kopicki Funeral Home, 263 Zerbey Ave., Kingston, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15 a.m. in Holy Family Parish. Interment will be in the St. Mary's Annunciation Cemetery, Pringle. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Parish, Luzerne.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kingston Health Care Center for their care of Bob during his stay there.
