Susan M. Carr, 57, a resident of the White Haven Center, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at Kindred Hospital Wyoming Valley in Wilkes-Barre.
She was born in Wilkes-Barre on July 18, 1955, a daughter of the late Peter G. and Dorothy Dougherty Carr. Susan was a resident of the White Haven Center for the past 44 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Dorothy Carr.
Surviving are sisters, Marianne Powers and her husband Michael, Oceanport, N.J.; Patricia Godfrey, Indian Lake; brothers, Peter Carr, Kingston; Joseph Carr, Wilkes-Barre; Edward Carr and his wife, Kira, West Friendship, Md.; nieces and nephews.
Susan's family is deeply grateful for the loving care provided by the staff, especially the aides at the White Haven Center for these many years. They were truly her family.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Haven Hall at the White Haven Center, 827 Oley Valley Rd., White Haven. The Rev. Michael Kloton will officiate. Private interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
