Thomas "Tom" Cusick, 87, formerly of Northampton, Pa., passed away early in the morning on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, under hospice care in Cumming, Ga.
He was the husband of Elizabeth "Betty" Cusick. Born in the Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph Cusick and Julia Cusick. Tom served in the Navy and was a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University in electrical engineering.
Tom spent most of his life in Northampton, Pa., helping raise four children, while working most of his professional career for Western Electric in Allentown, Pa., and Fuller Company in Bethlehem, Pa.
Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and working around and remodeling the house. In addition to these loves, Tom most enjoyed Penn State sports, especially football. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Over his last 15 years, battling with various afflictions, Tom never lost his optimism or sense of humor.
Survivors: wife; son, Richard Cusick; daughter-in-law, Laura Cusick; daughter, Donna Mondschein; son-in-law, Robert Mondschein; Daughter In-Laws, Crystal Cusick, Michelle Cusick, Grandsons, Stephen, James, Ryan, Michael and Granddaughters Anna, Kelsey; and great-grandsons:, Ridley, and Matthew; and great-granddaughter. Kyra. He is predeceased by his sons: Kenneth "Kenny" and Thomas "Tommy"; and sisters: Irene, Dorothy, and Betty.
Services: A private family Mass will be held at a later date.
