ASHLEY — Thomas Jakoboski, 70, of Ashley, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, in Celtic Hospice Inpatient Unit, Geisinger South, Wilkes-Barre.
He was born in Kingston, son of the late Alex and Frances Salek Jakoboski. He was one of God's special people, who enjoyed living in the group home with his roommates, Andy and Corky.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff of Keystone Health Services.
Thomas is survived by his cousin and caretaker, Charles and his wife, Charlotte Prohaska, of Larksville; and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. John the Baptist Church, 126 Nesbitt Street, Larksville. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Dallas.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ARC of Luzerne County, 380 Bennett St., Luzerne, PA 18709.
