ARTHUR JERNBERG Obituary
Formerly of Chippewa Township
Arthur C. Jernberg, age 87, of Beverly Hills, Fla., passed away March 29, 2020.
He was born in Belle Vernon, Pa. to the late Arthur E. and Emma Konecheck Jernberg.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Reed Jernberg; three daughters, Lynn (Bob) Stein of Boise, Idaho, Jill (Jim) Smolen of Annapolis, Md. and Beth (Joe) Ruiz of Foothill Ranch, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Reed Stein, Paxton Stein, Alex Smolen, Andrew Smolen, Ryan Smolen, Kayla Ruiz, Nick Ruiz and Adam Johnson; a great-grand
daughter, Harper Stein; a sister, Lois Hickey and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Smolen.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
Burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HPH Hospice (2939 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy, Lecanto, FL 34461) or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (439 E. Norvell Bryant Hwy, Hernando, FL 34442).
Services entrusted to HEINZ FUNERAL HOME, Inverness, Florida.

I had Mr. Jernberg as a home room teacher and Physics teacher at Beaver Falls, PA, High School. He was a kind man and scholar. It was a privilege to have known him. Bob Clarke

Sandy, Our hearts go out to you in these difficult times. So glad to hear the staff at Seven Rivers Hospital let you hold Art's hand and say your good - byes.
We will miss Art's phone calls, checking on us and always asking how Barb was doing. I will miss him calling to remind me to do something or ask about something at church. He kept me on my toes !
Great guy.
We hope this virus thing is over soon and you can mix with family and friends to get comfort.

Sandy, Art was a deal friend and will be missed a bunch. We had some great times together especially in Daytona Beach when I had the directions in how to get to the same place three times in a row. We grieve for you and your family but we know how faithful he was to you, family and his Savior .

Larry and I are so blessed having met such a wonderful and honorable person as Art. When my mom was in Hospice a few years ago, Sandy wanted to stay with me all night so I wouldn't be alone, Art just smiled and said he'd be back in the morning. He was such a giving person. My heart breaks for you Sandy but we know Art is watching down always on you. It was quite obvious how much his family meant to him.
