Paul Straile Obituary
Daugherty Twp. - Paul F. Straile, age 60, of Daugherty Twp., passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at his residence. Born July 12, 1960, in Rochester, he was the son of Jennie (Ezzo) Straile, and the late Robert H. Straile. With over 35 years of service with Gatan Inc., where he was affectionately known as 'Noom', Paul made and assembled parts for electron microscopes. He was a member of Victory Family Church in Cranberry. He loved hunting, biking, kayaking, and more than anything he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Lovingly known as 'Playground Pap', he spent countless hours taking his grandkids to every playground in the tri state area. Being a Pap was his greatest joy.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Rebecca 'Becky' (Buchanan) Straile; two daughters; Jennifer (Tim) Rodriguez; and Sara (Josh) Reott. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Liam, Eastyn and Rylee; one sister; Sandy Wright; and three brothers; John, Richard and Robert Straile, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
As per Paul's wishes, all services were private and handled by the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).

Paul and I worked together, on and off, for over 30 years and during this last year small events at work would remind me of Projects we worked on. Sometimes he would just give me this sarcastic grin, Stating.... Come on Dan, you should be able to solve this problem. :) Other times he would just teach me new skills in the world of machining and working will Metals. I've missed those moments but those memories last! Sometimes it's almost like he is still with us. Miss ya. Again, thoughts are still with all his family.

I worked with Paul for 32 years, Paul was always willing to help me when needed and taught me many different machining skills. I will always remember our conversations about perrenials and landscaping. Paul was a good friend and I will truly miss him.
