Leon Yoder Obituary
52 of Stone Creek died Wednesday, April 1, 2015. He was born Oct. 30, 1962 in Dover to Carrie (Miller) Yoder of Walnut Creek and the Menno M. Yoder. He was a 1981 graduate of Garaway High School and a self-employed Truck Driver. He was a member of the Salem Evans Creek Lutheran Church, Baltic Conservation Club, Ridgewood Young Farmers, the Coshocton Antique Tractor Club, enjoyed participating in Antique Tractor Pulls and was an avid Cleveland Indians Fan.
He is survived by his wife, the former Amy Mizer whom he married April 22, 2006, his son Austin Yoder of the home, siblings Ina (Ronald) Yoder of Greenwood, Delaware, Earl (Dorothy) Yoder of Dover, Eva Keim of Berlin, Luke (Ruth) Yoder of Dover and Twila Ropp of Sugarcreek, many nieces and nephews, father-in- law David Mizer and brother-in-law Terry (Pam) Mizer both of Stone Creek. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother Ernest, brothers-in-law Myron D. Slabach and Bill Keim and mother-in-law Diane Mizer.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at the Salem Evans Creek Lutheran Church 9030 Diebel Rd. Stone Creek with Rev. William Haggis officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Church Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek. Memorials may be made to the Evans Creek Cemetery Association C/O Rosalie Kandel 210 Mill St. NW Sugarcreek, Ohio 44681

Edgar, Nellie and Cheryl are still in Florida but we all will be praying for you and dear Austin. Always, keep in mind "Your Bakersville family" will always be near. Over the years, Leon has been a good friend to our family.
