Barbara Doyle Obituary

Barbara (Kazmierski) Doyle 1946 - 2021
CONWAY - Ms. Barbara (Kazmierski) Doyle, 74, of Conway, SC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Conway Medical Center, with her children at her side.
Survivors include one son, Paul G. Doyle, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Dr. Veronica (Ortiz), of Myrtle Beach; three daughters, Tamara Steffen, of Suwanee, GA, Sandra Carmola and son-in-law, Anthony, of Los Angeles, CA and Kelly Doyle, of Spotsylvania, VA; two sisters, Carol Lamach and brother-in-law, Herbert, of Whitesboro, NY and Alice Sutliff and brother-in-law, Charles, of Oneonta, NY; three brothers, John Kazmierski and sister-in-law, Doris, of New Jersey, Richard Kazmierski and sister-in-law, Kim, of West Virginia and Roger Kazmierski, of Myrtle Beach; one grandson, Nicolas Doyle, of Kentucky; two granddaughters, Alexandra Doyle and Kaitlyn Doyle, of Myrtle Beach; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was formerly married, for 20 years, to Paul G. Doyle of Brownsville, TX (originally Utica, NY).
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Kazmierski, of Little Falls, NY.
Barbara was born, August 22, 1946 and was a 1964 graduate of Herkimer High School, Herkimer, NY, where she participated in 4H. She worked in hospitality in Myrtle Beach for 30 years and maintained an interest in sewing and needlepoint until she had a stroke in 2011, but her love for bingo never waned.
She became a resident of PruittHealth-Conway and made many friends among the staff with her wise-cracking humor and in doting on her grandchildren.
A special thanks to the kindness and care shown by the Conway Medical Center staff during her last days and to her long-time caregivers at PruittHealth, who sneaked her red Twizzlers and called her "Mama."
A Memorial will take place at McMillan-Small Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, June 26 at 11 AM. The family will greet friends for one hour prior.
To honor Barbara, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to a charity of one's choice.

Mrs. Doyle was my father's "neighbor" at Pruitt. She always welcomed me with a smile and hello each time I visited. She will surely be missed. Prayers for you and yours in the coming days.

Mrs. Doyle was a special friend at Pruitt/Kingston. As a volunteer we would share many "pushes" to and from the dining hall. She had "her" place at the table with friends and always enjoyed their company (until Covid-19). After C-19 struck, I did not see her but as with the other elders, missed her. Her smile was always there when she talked of her family. She loved her family! Mrs. Doyle will be missed tremendously...God Bless her family and friends!
