Edna Sidoran Obituary
DOLGEVILLE - Mrs. Edna T. Sidoran, 101, a resident of Valley Health Services and formerly of 40 Elm Street, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Valley Health Services, Herkimer.
Mrs. Sidoran was born in Little Falls, on April 16, 1917, the daughter of John and Philomena (Ventura) Saracino and attended Dolgeville Schools.
She was united in marriage to Andrew P. Sidoran on October 17, 1954 in St. Joseph's Church, Dolgeville. Mr. Sidoran predeceased her on April 3, 1995.
Edna had been employed by the former Daniel Green Company of Dolgeville, retiring from there several years ago.
She was a faithful member of St. Joseph's Church and enjoyed weekly ceramic classes through the years. Her love of family and neighbors found her cooking and socializing with them on many occasions. She was found of daily "services with her neighbors".
Surviving her is her son and his wife, Michael and Laurie Sidoran, of New Hartford, NY; a sister-in-law, Rosalie Saracino, of Dolgeville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph; and her sisters, Anna and Rose.
A Funeral Mass will be held, Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 at 9 AM at St. Joseph's Church, Helmer Avenue, Dolgeville. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, June 1st, from 5-7 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home, 3 Faville Avenue, Dolgeville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Mohawk Homestead, 63 Main Street, Mohawk, New York 13407 in her name.
