Nancy Brunner Obituary
NEWPORT - Nancy L. Brunner, 78, formerly of Newport, died on May 13, 2018 at HomeLife at Folts, Herkimer, with her loving family at her side.
Mrs. Brunner was born on January 25, 1940, in Ilion, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Clara (Mischke) Ferguson. She graduated from Ilion High School and was married to Jack W. Brunner in 1965. He preceded her in death in 1983. Nancy was employed, for several years, at ACS, but mainly served as a devoted homemaker to her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Wendy (William) Moody, of Newport and Jacqueline (William) Matis, of Frankfort; five grandchildren, Ashley Moody (Nick Aunkst), Shane Moody (Amie Olson), Wayne Brunner and Jesse and Logan Matis; one brother, Richard Ferguson, of FL; one sister, Patricia (James) Farr, of FL; a brother-in-law, Robert (Emily) Brunner, of Webster; a sister-in-law, Patricia (James) McNamara, of Mayfield; a daughter-in-law, Debora Brunner, of Herkimer; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Walter Brunner, in 2002.
In accordance with Nancy's wishes, private graveside services will take place at Litchfield Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are entrusted to Autenrith Funeral Home, Newport.
The Brunner family extends their sincere thanks for the compassionate care provided by the staff at Folts for the past seven years.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association CNY Chapter, 441 West Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse, NY 13204.

i remember Nancy as one of the prettiest and classiest ladies from ilion. nancy and jack were neighbors and he sure loved her. Now she is with him and their son Dusty and i am sending up prayers for her family
