Ritchie, Abijah Lorena-Jade TROY Abijah Lorena-Jade Ritchie, October 7, 2015 - October 14, 2015. Between those two dates is not just a dash, but rather a life full of love, happiness and joy. A life, although short, that deeply touched many people, leaving a permanent impression on all our hearts. We extend not just words of thanks, but deep appreciation and gratitude for the loving, compassionate and kind care that the doctors, anesthesiologists, nurses and all the supporting staff at Albany Medical Center who assisted in the birth and care of our daughter extended to both us and her. We also express our deep love to our family and friends who have been tirelessly supporting us both physically, emotionally and spiritually over the last several months and who continue to do so. It comforts us to know that Lorena is not suffering, but that she is "sleeping" in death until our heavenly Father Jehovah awakens her to life once again here on earth in a restored earthly paradise together with countless others who also "sleep" in death. Our tears will turn to tears of joy. We long for that day, when Isaiah 65:20 will be fulfilled: "No more will there be an infant from that place who lives but a few days". When we will say "Death, where is your sting" - 1 Corinthians 15:55. Lorena's parents, Ray Jason and Leticia Ritchie, extend a warm invitation to all of Lorena's friends and family as well as anyone who has lost a child or loved one to death to please accompany us for the funeral talk to both comfort and be comforted. The funeral talk is scheduled for Sunday, November 1, at 4 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 400 Albany Shaker Road, Loudonville. Doors will be opened at 3:30 p.m.; all are encouraged to arrive early. No collections will be taken.

Queridos hermanos Jason y Lety: Sentimos mucho la perdida de su amada y dulce Lorenita. No existen palabras que puedan aliviar el dolor tan grande que sentimos cuando un ser querido se va, la pérdida es irreemplazable, sin embargo estamos unidos en la esperanza de ver a nuestros seres queridos en un futuro muy cercano, confiamos en la promesa de nuestro Padre Celestial Jehova. Seamos fuertes no desmayemos ni un minuto recordemos que la separacion es momentanea, sembremos eso muy hondo en nuestro corazon para que nuestra fé y esperanza sea cada día mas fuerte y solida.

Lety amiga, no pude contener mis lagrimas cuando me entere, como me hubiera gustado estar con ustedes en esos momentos tan dificiles, pero se que no estuvieron solos, que su familia, y nuestros hermanos espirituales estuvieron ahi, los quiero mucho y aunque no pueda estar presente manana, les mando un abrazo muy fuerte a ti y a jason, hermana mia, te quiero mucho te extrano, y se que a Lorenita no la conoci pero tengo la misma esperanza que ustedes de llegar a conocerla, y que ahora ella no sufre.

Nuestros queridos hermanos, Jason y Letty. Lamentamos muchísimo que han tenido que pasar por esta experiencia tan dolorosa pero estamos muy consiente de su amor y apegado a Jehova en no solo este momento sino en todos sus anos de fiel servicio. De seguro ese servicio ha servido para confiar en que Jehova tiene en su memoria a su hermosa hija Lorena. Como quisiéramos estar en persona con ustedes en este momento tan triste, pero las circunstancias no se lo permite ahora. Tenga la seguridad que continuamos teniendoles presente en nuestras oraciones y confiando que los hermanos que están a su lado te darán el mismo amor y cariño y consuelo que nosotros daríamos si pudiéramos. My dear brother and sister, though I have not met you personally I have known of you for many months through mutual friends. I have cried for you, and prayed for you. I thanked JEHOVAH that you had a whole week with your little one instead of a few hours. She is in jehovahs memory and when you hold her again she will be a perfect, healthy bundle of joy. You have been an encouragement to so many as he have remained faithful, and trusting to JEHOVAH our God. He will continue to care for you.
