Tony,
You were an awesome friend. Elementary school was fun, middle school was even better when Nick and I use to come over and play basketball. I remember we would always accidentally hit your grandma's flowers and she would come out and yell in italian. Then your family would cook dinner and we would play board games all night. I remember the high school bus ride to and from school...it was always entertaining having you and the boys in the back being...well...boys. I thank you till this day that when I asked for a brownie you looked at me and said "I'm sorry but no, you'll find out later why"..funny memories.

We had amazing times at SCCC, and I am so fortunate to have met you and called you my friend. I am deeply hurt by your passing, and I will miss you. Words could never explain how much I love you. We have been such good friends for years! Our love started in Culinary school. Always made me laugh, Always. You stayed with that amazing smile on your face, which is embedded into my brain. I will never forget it. I have had so many good times with you. My friends will never forget you, they all really liked you. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for my yearly bday present. Im sure your going to be the beer pong champ in heaven. I'll never forget the night you held the table down ALL NIGHT. Big day out, very fond memories with both you and your sister that day :-) Cant wait till the day I see you again and thankful you were able to make it to my new place in june. I worked with Tony at Red Robin for a short while. When I first started and everything was stressful and hectic, he was always over the line with this huge smile on his face and nothing but kind words to say. To Tony's family, my deepest condolences, your son/brother was such an amazing person with a noticeable heart of gold. I consider myself lucky for having known Tony and I have faith that he is in a better place.

To Suzanne and Family,
I would like to express my deepest sympathy as my heart breaks for the DiStasio Family. It is hard enough to lose someone you love, it is even harder when they are young and your not expecting it. Never having met Anthony, I had heard nothing but wonderful things about this young man. The bond he had with Suzanne was one that you rarely see anymore, and I am thankful that they had such a beautiful sibling relationship. Words will never be able to express the pain Anthony's family and friends are going through, however in these difficult times remember that Anthony has not left you. He will always be with you in your heart as long as you hold tight onto the memories that you are truly lucky to have. Anthony is now among the angels and watching over everyone he loves, so do not feel alone...He will always be with you.

I can't believe you're gone. Never in a million years did I ever think I'd be living through this nightmare. When Suzanne told me what happened, I was in such a state of shock. I didn't know what to do. I was shaking, crying, I couldn't catch my breath. We just sat on the phone and cried. You, Anthony, mean so much to me. You've been part of my life for 19 years. We were insparable. If you weren't at my house, I was at yours. We'd play video games, watch movies, run around in the backyard until the sun went down, we'd bug Suzanne by going into her room when she didn't want us in there. We played games-- we were best friends. All of those memories are ones that I will carry with me forever. Thank you for always being there. It's been a few years since we hung out but we still chatted and I always knew you'd be there no matter what. I'll always remember our time together, your smile, and most importantly our friendship. I love you, Anthony. Rest in peace. "How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so difficult."

I am still having a really hard time to except the fact that you are no longer with us, and don't know if I ever really will. You honestly were one of the best friends I have ever had, throw out middle/high school you were always there for me,and all of your friends. you never lost sight of who you were and always stuck by your friends no matter what. We didn't agree about everything but I could always count on you to give me your prospective on everything and open my eyes to things and MOST of the time you were right. Thank you for always being there for me throw all the good and bad times. I will always remember all the time we spent together and cherish every memory . No one will ever be able to make a Tiramisu like you did!! Still my favorite. Just thinking of your big smile and tho's looks you would give and your laugh makes me smile. I don't think you really knew how many people you effected in your life and how many people really do love you. You will forever live on threw everyone that has had the honer to know you. Anthony was a good kid. We worked together when he worked at Hoffman carwash on Central ave. He was always an honest kid and always had a joke to tell which left me laughing.

Tony its still surreal. You were always laughing and smiling. You'd always push me and then crack up. Ah I wish I would've seen you recently but time marches on. Its horrible that we've all got so consumed in our own lives that we forgot to continue to share them with our friends. I will see you every night when I close my eyes. i just started going through some old picture tony..i found ones of me you & adrian at junior prom! thats taking it way back. everytime i close my eyes all i can picture is running up to you at jays house and giving you the biggest hug. i will cherish that moment forever. please keep an eye on my brother for me. love ya

It is so hard for me to accept that such a wonderful person was taken away from us at such a young age. I wish to send my greatest condolences to Big Tony's family. He was a big part of so many of our lives. He was one of my closest friends throughout middle and highschool and I am so happy to have had so many great memories with him - Even though most of those memories are of him giving me a hard time! He was such a great person, with truly a heart of gold. Although he will be greatly missed - His spirit will live through those which he touched throughout his lifetime.

I still remember St. Patricks '10 in downtown Albany. The laughs, the comments, the guy who claimed he knew you but we all knew he didn't... All great times, and great memories. You were always the life of the party, and still managed to show respect and care to those that surrounded you. You were an amazing Son, Brother, Cousin, Friend, everything. Everything you did and everything you've done, you always made sure that it was for the benefit of other's. You cared and loved so much, and we all love and will miss you dearly.
