Arthur Shacter Obituary
RALEIGH, N.C. - Arthur Shacter passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 83, in Raleigh, N.C. He was born in Albany on September 10, 1941. Arthur graduated from Albany High School in 1959, and Clarkson University in 1963. He worked as a chemical engineer for the federal government for over 40 years, primarily with the Corps of Engineers and the Environmental Protection Agency. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; his son, Scott, of Mableton, Ga.; and his brother, Joe, of Portland, Ore. He was predeceased by his parents, Dave and Dora Shacter.
