Camille Dockstader Obituary

Dockstader, Camille
COHOES - Camille Dockstader of Cohoes, formerly Watervliet, passed away peacefully in her home on May 20, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on September 25, 1960, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Camille's life was a beautiful testament to faith, love, and service. She was the beloved wife of Glenn Dockstader; and the proud mother to Jason (Rojin) Dockstader, Eleanor (Eric) Dockstader, Paul (Ashley) Dillon, Charles Manganaro, Taylor (Melanie) Dockstader, and Arianna Dockstader. Additionally, she was the cherished grandmother to Carter, Scarlett, Carson and Arjin.
Camille's unwavering devotion to God was the foundation of her life. Her faith guided her actions, comforted her in times of struggle, and inspired all who knew her. She nurtured a deep spiritual connection that radiated through her kindness, wisdom, and strength. Camille shared her faith not only through words, but through a life lived with grace, humility, and compassion.
In 2002, Camille founded the Watervliet Youth Basketball Program, a ministry of love and mentorship as much as an athletic endeavor. She believed in the power of sports to shape character and community and worked tirelessly to give young people a place to grow in skill, confidence, and in faith. Her vision and leadership left an indelible mark on generations of families.
Camille was known for her spirit, her radiant smile, and her ability to lift others up. Her legacy is one of service, sacrifice, and spiritual strength, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Family and friends are invited and may visit with Camille's family on Friday, May 23, in the Konicek & Collett Funeral Home LLC., 1855 12th Ave., Watervliet, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. A prayer service will immediately follow the visitation in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Camille's memory to the Watervliet Youth Basketball Program, by check to Watervliet Youth Basketball or via Cash App to $watervlietyouthbball.
Camille Dockstader's light will continue to shine in the hearts of her family, her community, and all those whose lives were touched by her faith and love.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Konicek & Collett Funeral Home LLC., Watervliet.

So very sorry to hear of your great loss. Camille was Aunt to my adult children thru her brother James; Nicole and Nicholas Manganaro. We have always lived in California which made it hard for us to see her. My name is Susan Cerro - James x-wife. I was fortunate to have met Camille when she lived here for awhile in the early 80s. She was a very fun, likeable, loving Aunt, and had a wonderful active zest for life. I've attached a picture of her with Nicole & Nick.
If any of the cousins would like to contact their cousins here, my address is 15 Ash Creek Lane, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. [email protected] My deepest condolences.
