michael, janet (david), karen (mark), grand and great grand children...

i am so sorry to hear of the passing of carol, and wanted you all to know that peggy and i were out of town for the past week, and therefore unavailable to be with you. dave started dating janet while they were both in high-school, i've known carol most of my life, and she always held a special place in my heart. i know the last few years have not been particularly easy for her, so we can all find some comfort in knowing that she will find peace in her eternal rest.

to janet and karen...my relationship with my mother is most cherished, and i do not look forward to the day i find myself in your place. my thoughts and prayers are with you as you deal with your loss, and i trust you will find the strenght to endure the days ahead.

mike has helped to make the final chapters of carol's life complete. may god provide all that he may need in the future.

Dearest Grandma,

Over the years you gave me so much wonderful advice about life and love. The one thing I remember today is something you told me not too long ago. You said that every week God picks a beautiful bouquet of flowers and that each flower represents one of his children that he needed to have with him in heaven.

I know that this week he has the most beautiful bouquet the angels have ever seen sitting on his dining room table. I am also sure that when you got to Heaven, St. Peter was glad to see you because no one there can cook chicken and biscuits like you.

Rachel wants you to be sure to feed Jinx the cat (I didn't tell her that you weren't overly fond of cats). Emily Rose says you are a pretty angel. I'm sure she's right. They say that small children can see angels and I am sure that you are watching over all the children now.

We love you and miss you, but are glad that you are free of pain and at rest.

Give Uncle Joey a kiss from his favorite niece. I still remember his stinky feet...

Say hello to Elvis for us. I know you said you couldn't wait to meet him.

Kisses and hugs from your girls,

Rebecca, Rachel, and Emily Rose

Karen, Mark, Mark Joseph, Leah and the rest of Carol's family,

Know that you are all in our thoughts and in our prayers during this very sad time. Take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering and is at peace with her loved ones that have gone before her. She was a special and caring person to all who knew her and touched many lives in a very positive way.

Let the memories keep you strong through this difficult time and the days ahead. May you take strength from the love of your friends and family and know that you are all in God's hands.

With our deepest sympathy,

Love,

Tim, Barb, Kierah & Hunter Ty
