Cassidy Callaghan Obituary
ALBANY - It is with great sadness we announce the loss of Cassidy Gorman Callaghan, 22, who died suddenly on Sunday, February 12, 2023.
Cassidy was born on April 29, 2000, in Albany to Meg (Margaret) Gorman and the late Bryan Callaghan. From the day she was born, you knew that she had an old, beautiful, amazing, and loving soul. Cassidy attended elementary school in Albany, graduated from South Colonie High School, and attended H.V.C.C. for a short time.
In her short life, Cassidy had an impressive impact on others. She never meet a stranger she did not know. Cassidy's sassy attitude, quick and unending sarcasm, and deep compassion for others, especially those who were struggling with life, set her apart.
She is survived by her mother, Meg Gorman (Chauncey Van Patten); her grandparents, Brenda Knudson Chouffi and Greg Chouffi; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and her beloved, Nef Gorman. She was preceded in death by her father, Bryan Callaghan; and maternal grandparents, Margaret and Donald Gorman.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
A memorial and family burial will take place at a later time.
