Catherine Brimmer Obituary
CROPSEYVILLE - Catherine "Kathleen" Brimmer, passed away on April 24, 2025, at her home, in Cropseyville, N.Y. A funeral Mass will be celebrated for Catherine by the Reverend Randall P. Patterson, on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 12 p.m., in Our Lady of Victory Church, Troy, N.Y. Interment will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery, in Petersburgh, N.Y. Friends are invited to attend and may also visit at the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home, 66 Armsby Rd., Petersburgh, N.Y., on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m., and again on Friday, at Our Lady of Victory Church, prior to the Mass, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. A complete obituary will appear later this week in the Times Union and online at www.parkerbrosmemorial.com

Remembering Kay fondly after working at St.Mary´s for 30 years. Such a kind, compassionate nurse contributed to our hospital´s loving reputation in the community. Thank You Kay for the great example you were for all nursing staff. You are clearly resting in the arms of Our Lord now. Fly high!

Aunt Kate was a legend. There are so many great memories of her while I was growing up. A particular favorite was Dad scaring her pants off when she'd leave the house and he'd sneak out another door to jump out of the dark. She always made time to see us when we were home. I'm sad to be so far away and miss celebrating her life and gorgeous spirit with everyone. Much love to you all.
