Christopher Enzien Obituary

Enzien, Christopher Brandt
ALBANY - Christopher Brandt Enzien of Albany, 65, passed away suddenly on the morning of December 24, 2024, at Albany Medical Center, as the result of an irregular heartbeat.
He was the eldest child of Mary Fragomeni Enzien and Peter Enzien Sr. He was born in Syracuse because his father was attending law school there.
He was raised in Mechanicville, N.Y. and graduated from Mechanicville High School. Christopher went on to earn a Bachelor of Technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica. He worked as a senior project manager at DASNY for several years before retiring in early 2023. He also spent many years as a project manager with The Gordian Group, Inc., and liked to reminisce about when he owned a custom millwork business in Albany early in his career.
Christopher frequently said he loved being retired because it allowed him to focus on his favorite things. He loved spending time with his family and two dogs. He enjoyed boating, fast cars, traveling, going to shows and concerts, as well as visiting the Adirondacks. He was a foodie who happened to be a very good cook.
Christopher is survived by his mother; his widow, Pauline Liu; his sister, Margaret Enzien; his brothers, Peter Enzien Jr. and John Enzien; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father; and sister, Gianna Enzien. His family members are planning a number of small private celebrations of his life for late spring and early summer.
