Cody Casullo Obituary

Casullo, Cody James CHARLTON Cody James Casullo, age 29, passed unexpectedly at his parent's home in Charlton, on December 4, 2021. Cody was born on December 11, 1991, in Albany to Richard and Kathleen (Lee) Casullo. An extremely gifted and bright student, Cody truly loved learning. After leaving Schenectady Christian School in 2010 as valedictorian, and earning his bachelor's degree at the University at Albany, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Albany Law School in 2016. Cody was recently accepted into the pre-med post-bac program at Columbia University in New York City in his continued pursuit of scholastic excellence. A dedicated attorney, Cody used his insightful understanding of the law as his way of making a personal and heartfelt impact with everyone he helped. As a loving husband, Cody decided to move with his wife to Tacoma, Wash. to support his wife's career and further his legal experience. He was to have been admitted to the Washington State Bar on December 9, 2021. Cody will be greatly missed by his parents, Richard and Kathleen (Lee) Casullo; his loving wife, Rebecca Lee; two brothers, Aaron Suits and Alan Suits; and best friend Ben Strevy. He also leaves behind his canine companion, Bailey, and feline friends, Oliver and Gypsy. Cody was predeceased by his brother, Richard Casullo Jr.; and his father-in-law, Wilson Lee. Services will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 18.
