KJ and family, please accept our sincere condolences. To my mother, Marion Miller, Mr. Flahive was a long-term teaching colleague at Niskayuna. To my sister, Alma Miller, Mr. Flahive was an understanding and encouraging teacher. To me, he was someone to avoid at school, because he always knew what we were doing wrong, before we did it! Before that, he was the “all-powerful” giant-of-a-man who ran Pine Woods Day Camp. He earned our respect with experience-driven wisdom and his sense of humor will certainly be missed. Our hope is that his energy and spirit live on through the actions of his family.

Kevin & Family ~ We remember "Dan" with fond memories of times gone by in "The Den", of his laughter and humor and oh those wonderful jokes. Dan was also a wonderful teacher at NHS to our children Tommy & Cathy Perry.
Please accept our sincere sympathy.
