I would like to extend my sincere sympathy on the loss of your husband, David and his entire family. It was with great sadness that I heard of his passing. I am a friend of George and Beth. I know how much they loved David. I think George learned alot about his nephew these past few months- a bond they both shared. No one can explain why a man so young is taken away from his family only God knows . However, it seemed in his too short life it was fulfilling in many ways. Rest in peace David. You are a shining example of all things good. May God watch over your family and your Guardian Angel watch over you.

Sue, you know how much the four of us loved him. He was a constant source of fun for us, wearer of homemade t-shirts, lover of baked goods, pumpkin launch helper, dinner companion, fierce fighter, and friend. We will miss him.

We are saddened by Dave's passing and very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and sympathy are with the Winkle family during this very difficult time. We had the privilege of getting to know Dave while he worked at our house on three separate occasions over the past 15 years. Not only was Dave a consummate professional and highly skilled but a joy to be around while he was at our house. As much as we looked forward to the project at hand being completed we did not look forward to no longer being able to enjoy Dave's company everyday. You could tell how much he enjoyed doing what he did and even more so how much he enjoyed and loved his family. Dave will be remembered fondly by us forever as the work he did at our house will be a constant reminder of him. Best wishes, Michael, Michelle, Reilley and Maddox Brodt.

Dave always had a way of making you feel welcome and part of the family. My favorite story is going to have lunch with Sue and "the boys" a couple of times a year and Dave always thanking me for coming because he said Sue hadn't fed him since the last time I was there and he was really hungry! He always made me smile! My heart breaks for the loss of such a dear man - he was a wonderful dad and husband and will be greatly missed by anyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
