Dorothy Meicht Obituary

STOTTVILLE Dorothy Lovina Meicht, 85, of Stottville, died suddenly at Columbia Memorial Hospital on Saturday, March 8, 2003. She was born in Medusa, N.Y. on August 8, 1917. She is the daughter of the late Orson and Lulu Bryant. She graduated from Albany Business College and she was an executive legal and medical secretary for over 40 years. She was a gifted quilter, seamstress and interior decorator. She attended the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Stottville. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert C. Meicht. She is survived by her daughter, Karen (David) Kisselbrack of Ghent, her daughter Bonnie (David) Manes of Oneonta; and her son, Stephen (Jan) Boyle of Rochester; her grandchildren, Kent Kisselbrack, Jodi LaGonia, Wendy Niles, Heidi Haner, Debbie Geise and Jay, Leigh and Michael Burbank. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and a brother, Leland (Madaline) Bryant of Delmar. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jenny Manes. Relatives and friends are invited to attend services at Bates and Anderson Funeral Home. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday with Pastor Florez officiating. Interment will be held in the spring at Stuyvesant Falls Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbia Greene Humane Society, 125 Humane Society Rd., Hudson, NY 12534.
