Edward Krause Obituary
CLIFTON PARK - Edward B. Krause, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, with his loving family by his side.
He was the son of the late Edward and Wanda Krause. Edward was the devoted husband to Margaret L. Krause; they were married for 65 years.
Edward worked as the regional manager for A&P and Cumberland Farms. Edward enjoyed spending time with his entire family and friends. He was an avid golfer. Edward was a lover of sports and enjoyed spending many summers on Cape Cod. What Edward cherished most was the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, going to their many events. Edward was the life of the party. He was able to light up a room with his sense of humor.
In addition to his wife, Edward is survived by his children, Karen L. Gibbins, Jill A. (Doug) Jacomine, and David E. (LeeAnn) Krause; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene Krause; as well as many friends. In addition to his parents, Edward was predeceased by his sister, Frances Schoenlein.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet on Tuesday, November 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. with a service to follow at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Edward's name to Save the Children, Attn: Gift Processing, 501 Kings Highway East, Suite 400, Fairfield, CT, 06825, and The Clifton Park Halfmoon Rescue Squad, CPHM EMS, Attn: Community Development, 15 Crossing Blvd., Clifton Park, NY, 12065.
