Al, Erick and the entire Singleman Family,

I am sorry to hear of your Mom's passing.

Although I did not know your Mom well, your Dad was very special to me. As a member of The Albany Boy's Club Livingston Avenue branch, Sing, along with Fred and Pete were like Fathers to me, and all of the boys at the club. I think often of each of them and the club.

I recall one day in the summer when the club was closed, we playing in the fields across from the club. My brother cut his wrist very badly. Fortunately, Sing happened to be at the club working on his boat. I saw his car, a Lincoln I believe, and I pounded on the club's front door. A Corpsman in the Navy, Sing quickly dressed the wound and saved my brother's. Thanks Sing.

I hope this story brings each of you some comfort.

May God bless your Mom.

Godspeed.

RIP.

Love,

Frank.
