Dorthy, I am so sorry you found out so long after they passed. I actually have a photo of your farm that Frank shared with me. He was a fantastic brother and his wife Joann was wonderful. I miss him every day, and always will. I am in awe of how blessed he was to have great people in his life like you.
Thanks for thinking about him and sharing.
It would be great to be able to talk with you, not sure how to do that.

David, I am so happy you still think of Frank after 8 years. I know he was a great PA and loved his job, mostly because of people like you. Apparently he did a good job cause you are still here on earth to say nice things about him. I am so happy to hear your words. I miss my brother more than anything. He was my world.
Please stay healthy and take care of yourself, Frank would want that for you.
PS, next time you go to the VA, tell them I said hello. I miss them too.

It´s April 15 2021. I was a student of Franks at Stony Brook... class of 1991...Frank and Jo Ann came to our farm .... shortly after I graduated. And we exchanged Christmas Cards ever since. But we stopped receiving a return card for several years. But I never received them back as being unable to be delivered. And today for some reason he crossed my mind .... and I found his obituary.... I am extremely shocked to hear of his and Jo Ann´s passing. To his children and family I send my belated condolences. Frank was a fantastic teacher.... and mentor. Prayers to you all.

My husband, Ken Bubeck, and I were shocked when we heard about this tragic loss. Frank and Joann were our neighbors for the past 10 years. Our backyards are back to back and my husband and Frank would spend time chatting over the fence while Frank worked in his garden. Frank and Joann were very kind to us when we first moved to Delmar bringing over tomato's from the garden and letting us borrow their riding lawn mower until we purchased one of our own. They bought us monogramed towels as a house warming gift which I still use. Their daughter, Meghan, was our "puppysitter" when she was in high school. This is a tragic loss for two people so full of life and so young. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Paul and Meghan and the extended family.

What a terrible loss. I had the great pleasure of meeting Frank back in the 70's when we worked together in the School of Radiology at the VA in Northport, NY. We quickly became great friends; the kind of friendship that lasts forever. Frank had a presence about him that made him special and unique. Not your ordinary guy. Always smiling and telling a story or joke like no one else could. When he spoke, he had a captive audience. His words stayed with you. He made a lasting impression on everyone that had the good fortune of crossing his path. He was an important part of my family and he was very proud to be my daughter's Godfather. There was no one better that we could have chosen. He was the smartest man I ever met, with wisdom beyond his years. He was always there to help, teach, listen, or make you laugh. He had a huge heart. It was an honor to call him my friend. Even if we didn't see each other or communicate for a while, he was always on my mind. When we did, it was like no time had passed. I can't say enough about the kind of person he was. The world was a better place because of him. He was one of my favorite people in the whole world and will be greatly missed. Thank you for all the great memories Frank. My heart goes out to Megan and Paul and the family.

I will miss you and Jo very very much, will miss the jokes and the times that we shared together at work and during our social gathering's. RIP OLD FRIENDS. Till we meet again.

Frank treated me at the VA for several months. I was so impressed by his insight, his attention to detail and by his care for me as an individual. My impression was that the great respect he enjoyed from his patients was mirrored among the medical professionals he worked with. I am so sorry that his family did not get to enjoy him more.

My sincere condolences to the family of this legendary VA caregiver, exemplary friend and coworker. When you heard his laugh and voice, you wanted to find him,for moments shared were filled with fun, brightness and great energy. The patients loved him,and many say they had hope to live thru Franks incredible care and bedside manner. To watch him interact with his dear cancer care team was just watching a master at life, reinforce the significance of time well spent, humor and love in appreciating every day. He was a proud radiologic technologist, that mentored many to constantly achieve the best in their professions. I so enjoyed Frank jumping in and walking with a flock of folks that were priveledged to have him join them on our walks to & from the parking lot! He always made you feel better and reflect on the moment. He was a true child of the sixties like myself;and I know what goes around comes around and as a result both he and his dear wife are being rewarded for their great life & spirit they shared with all of us. My prayers are with you thru this great loss of these incredible parents.

Extremely sad. I worked with Frank in the early 1990s both at Albany Medical Center and the Stratton VA. He was just one of the nicest people you could ever know, as Joann was as well. He was also arguably one of the finest PAs I have ever met.
