Gail Baker Obituary
TROY - Gail A. Baker, 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, after a brief illness at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late William J. Lavinus and Margaret M. (McInerney) Lavinus. Gail was predeceased by her husband, Donald R. Baker.
Gail was a graduate of Catholic Central High School. She was employed at Cluett, Peabody & Co. Inc., in Troy, for many years and Sixnet, LLC before retiring.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristine Riley. She was the loving "Grammy" to Sarah Cole and Ryan Cole. She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren, Nathan Pasinello and Jordan Pasinello. She is also survived by several cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m., at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, N.Y. 12189. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
