Georgette I. Tuzzolo

Tuzzolo, Georgette I. ALBANY Georgette I. Tuzzolo, 55, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018, at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany, daughter of the late Charles and Sarah (Ford) Koonz, she was a graduate of Albany High School. Georgette worked for many years as a nurse's aide and then a dental assistant. She was a member of the North Albany Limericks. Georgette was devoted to raising her children, Michaela, Sarah and Scott and she supported them in all of their activities, interests and organizations. In addition to her children, she is survived by her sister, Laurel Cioppa and her husband Gaetano; niece Erminia Cioppa, nephew Joseph Cioppa and niece Charlese Cioppa (Kevin Yukie). She is also survived by her children's grandmother, Lorraine Berkman and by several cousins, great-nieces and one great-nephew. She was predeceased by her children's grandfather, Sanford Berkman. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 27, from 4-7 p.m. at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 28, at 11 a.m. in the New Scotland Presbyterian Church, 2010 New Scotland Road, Slingerlands, NY, 12159.
