Jacqueline Bee Obituary
ALBANY - Jacqueline A. Bee, 74 of Albany, passed into eternal rest Tuesday morning, January 17, 2023.
Jacqueline was born in Massapequa, N.Y. and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Elizabeth Liebl. She was the loving wife of 45 years to Clair F. Bee Jr. who passed away in 2016.
Jackie was the loving mother of Carrie (Marc Weiss), Jennifer (Lucas Weston), Clair Bee (Tara) and Christopher Bee. She was the loving grandmother of Chloe, Ariana, Zachary, Sadie, Atreyu, Cameron, Louisa, Maple, Asa and Shepherd. Barb Peterson, moms' best friend of 35 years was her sister by choice.
Jackie and Clair moved from Roscoe, N.Y. with the family to the Capital District in the mid-1980s. Jackie was a retiree of N.Y.S. DOMH. Jackie was an active thespian in the Capital District and performed in over 50 productions at various theaters throughout the years. Schenectady Light Opera, SCT, ACT, Family Players, Park Playhouse, and her most favorite, Matinee Theater Players. When not with her theater family, she was with her boating family. Jackie loved their sailboat and enjoyed spending time with her boating friends and family on the lake. Known for giving gifts, collecting anything with a bee on it, and her decorative pillows, Jackie was happiest with the grandchildren and preferred to sit at the kid table at all holiday get-togethers. Her love language was food, she loved to cook and used way too much butter.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to celebrate the final curtain of Jacqueline Ann Bee on Sunday, January 22, 2023, from 1-3 p.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. The funeral service will take place on Monday, January 23, 2023, in the funeral home beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment beside her husband, Clair, in the Saratoga National Cemetery will immediately follow the service. We promised her a standing ovation!
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.

Jackie and I knew each other in high school. She was like a big sister to me. We had some fun times. I was sad when we lost touch, but the only good thing about Facebook is that we found each other again. When I moved upstate, we reconnected and I was thrilled. She was taken too soon, and I lost a sister who I loved very much.

Jackie is one of my fondest memories of growing up in Massapequa. A beautiful girl with a beautiful voice and I got to be her "little sis." We lost touch for a while, but she never left my memory, and then we found each other again, and it was one of my happiest moments. She is gone too soon, and her family is blessed to have had her love and to have had the blessing to call her Mom. I will miss her very much.
