Jerry Siemian Obituary

Siemian, Jerry R. CLIFTON PARK Jerry R. Siemian, age 66, passed away suddenly on July 20, 2021, at Saratoga Hospital. He was born in Buffalo, N.Y. to the late Jerry Siemian Sr. and Wanda (Weselak) Siemian. Jerry was a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, and the University of Connecticut, where he earned an MBA. He was employed most recently at the N.Y.S. Department of Higher Education Services. Jerry was a gentle, kind, and generous soul. He enjoyed spirited conversation, tennis, fine foods and music, and keeping up with new cars and trending technologies. He loved to fish, water ski, and spend time on the water, especially at Rushford Lake in Western New York. He never wavered in his support of the Buffalo Bills. He is survived by his beloved son, Dr. Justin Siemian; his daughter-in-law, Lauren; his lifelong friend and former wife, Lori Siemian-Van Orden; his brother, Dr. Walter Siemian; and his many cousins and friends.
