Tim and Trina,
Joan, was on of the nicest and funniest people that I have ever meet. I will always remember her laughter and the love she had for you too. I think of her often as I see the painting that she made for Emma, Anna and Henry. I also hang Henry´s coat on a small coat rack that she made for Bryn. She was truly a wonderful person, as are you both. I am sure she is looking down at you both with such pride and love. Sending you love and strength.
Love, Leigh

I'm so sorry to hear of Joan's passing. I had the privilege of getting to know her when we were building our house across the street from them on Old New Salem Rd.
I truly enjoyed her stories of the property that had been in her family for years, from the house that once stood there to their annual family's tradition of going to cut a Christmas tree down in the woods.

Tim and Katrina - My mom and I are so sad to hear this news. Your mom touched both of us in so many ways - from her wonderful design work for at Marion Michaels Interiors to the paintings she gave me for my wedding which I have hung with affection in all my homes and am looking at as I write this. Joan was incredibly creative, sincere, and honest. And busy! Her candid sense of humor could always lighten the day. She has touched us and many others. So very sorry for the loss of a great woman. Wishing you peace.

We worked together at the Vanguard Showhouse in the early'90's. I loved her warmth and beautiful smile. I have always enjoyed the artwork I purchased from her. It will always have a special place in my home. Joan was a very special woman. A very precious talent.

We were so sad to hear of Joan's passing. She was such a great person, always a smile no matter what. She and Dave were so much fun to spend time with, we will miss you both, as will all of your Troy friends

I knew Joan from the Bethlehem Art Group and she visited my house in Voorheesville. I sat with her at the Garden Club luncheon this Fall and had a chance to catch up. So glad to have known her.

Joan and David were devoted to their dogs. As their veterinarian I was touched by their love and dedication to doing what was best for their babies'. I will miss her visits. My thoughts are with your family.
