The world is a better place for having held John Faddegon. He epitomized character, respect, integrity, honesty and devotion. He always had a smile and a kind word. John left a legacy of beauty across the capital district with his trademark landscape style and his love of preserving historic architecture. His talents live on in his family. We can only aspire to leave as glorious a legacy as John has. It brings me pleasure to remember the times we shared a stroll along journey of life. My deepest condolensces to his family. I know he was the most beloved father and grandfather.

With deep sympathy from the Yunck family to the Faddegon's. My father, the late Charles Yunck[ of Yunck's Nursery of Newtonville, New York] and Mr Faddegon were fellow business owners, and friends.

We will always remember John as a thoughtful and caring man who touched all of us. John respectfully opened himself to life and, when life opened new possibilities, embraced them without relinquishing the past. We extend our love and support to his family.
