CASTLETON - John Nelligan, 77, of Castleton, entered into eternal life, on Friday, May 16, 2025. Husband of Sheryl Phillips Nelligan; and father of Kate and Bridget. Funeral services will be held on Friday, at 9:30 a.m., in Holy Spirit Church, East Greenbush. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Visitation on Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Wm. John Nelligan was a dear friend of ours for over 40 years. He was sincere, faithful, and kind. He was awesome in the kitchen and an avid historian, but most of all he was a loving family man. He will be sadly missed.
