John O'Donahoe Obituary
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - John D. O'Donahoe Sr., of Scottsdale, Ariz., passed on Thursday, August 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born February 10, 1933, in Troy, he was the son of the late Robert and Anne (Lucy) O'Donahoe. He graduated from Watervliet H.S. in 1951, and spent four years in the U.S. Air Force in El Paso, Texas, as an aircraft engine specialist working on the B36. Jack retired from Niagara Mohawk as an underground maintenance foreman after 42 years. He raised his family in Speigletown, and moved to Scottsdale in 2002. He loved anything aviation-related, going to airshows whenever possible; was a collector of many things; and loved crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and Bingo with his friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Patricia (Konen) O'Donahoe; sister, Sally (Jim) Conway; brother, Robert (Mary) O'Donahoe; and sister, Kathy (Tom) Schroeder. Loving father of John O'Donahoe Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Patty (Tom) Morris of Scottsdale, Ariz. He will be greatly missed by his three granddogs, Golden Retrievers, Dempsy, Clancy and Darby, whom he adored. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be laid to rest with his wife at Paradise Memorial Gardens in Scottsdale.

Remembering Uncle Jack with fond memories. Jack & Pat came to several family weddings & gatherings, they were always pleasant and fun to be around. We spent some time at Lake George with Jack, which was a favorite area for my mother. He was a great brother to her. Thinking of his children John and Patty at this time, we are very sorry for your loss. I will remember Jack as a happy soul and keep him in my prayers. Patti and Shorty Bryant
