Joseph De La Creda Jr.

De La Creda, Joseph Jr. LATHAM Joseph De La Creda Jr., 68, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 16, 2021, with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Eva De La Cerda. JoJo was the devoted husband to Sue M. De La Cerda; they were married 37 years. In addition to his wife, JoJo is survived by his daughter, Heather Monken; two grandchildren, Amanda Bachman-Harrison and Timothy Tuthill; and his half-sister, LaVelta Crody of Worthington, Ind. While in college, JoJo enlisted in the United States Army where he served for six years until his honorable discharge. JoJo was an active member of the Living Hope Community Church. JoJo enjoyed spending time with his family and loved cooking chili. He was an avid fisherman. JoJo was a diligent student of the bible and loved participating in Biblical classes. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 24, at 3 p.m. in the Living Hope Community Church, 458 Old Niskayuna Rd., Latham.
