Judith Sanders Obituary
ALBANY - Judith M. Sanders, 62, passed away on March 10, 2026, after a long battle for life. She was born in Albany, N.Y., August 1, 1963, to David and Myrna Sanders, and was a lifelong resident of Albany.
Judith was a graduate of Albany High School, and attended the University of Rhode Island, where she majored in Nutrition. She volunteered at St. Peter's Hospital for decades, and she ran a community store at Thurlow Terrace Apartments. Judith made beautiful needlepoints for friends and family to celebrate milestones.
Judith is survived by her sister and brother in-law, Sharon and Michael Cohen; and sister, Elisabeth N. Sanders, from Cincinnati, Ohio.
Funeral services for Judith will be held graveside on March 15, at 11 a.m., at The Independent Benevolent Cemetery, 260 Fuller Rd., in Albany.
Judith's family would like to thank NYOH, specifically Dr. Wrzesinski, for his care and compassion.

Judith had a huge heart filled with compassion. Always a warm smile. A word of encouragement. Whatever it was it was sure to lift one`s heart from their illness. My sincere condolences to Judith`s family. May her memory be for a blessing.
