Keith Avery Obituary

Avery, Keith M. Sr.
HUDSON - Born in Hudson, New York, on November 21, 1959, Keith Michael Avery was the beloved son of Ralph and Dorthy Avery. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph.
Keith grew up in Claverack, N.Y., and was a proud graduate of Taconic Hills High School. Known for his strong work ethic, he spent many years as a dedicated Property Manager. Even after retiring, Keith continued to stay active, working parttime in maintenance at various nursing homes where his kindness and reliability were always appreciated.
Keith had a deep love for the outdoors. He found joy in hunting and fishing, especially when spending time with his family. A proud father, he cherished coaching his daughter in fast-pitch softball and enjoyed helping coach boys' basketball. Keith was also known around town for cruising in his cherished antique 1988 Corvette, a car he loved and maintained with pride.
On the morning of September 5, 2025, God called Keith Sr. home. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family and friends. Keith is survived by his loving mother, Dorthy Avery; his sisters, Nancy O'Day and Judy Snow; his children, Keith Avery Jr. and Tiffani Avery; and five beloved grandchildren. He will also be deeply missed by his dear friends, Paul and Norma Jean Hess, along with a host of extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
