To Kevin's family,
For several memorable years during and following high school Kevin was an integral part of the gang I spent most of my free time with in Pittsfield and environs--Pitch and Putt, veal sandwiches at O'Laughlin's, senior-year vacation to Cape Cod, and nearly all-night games of RISK. He had a great sense of humor, loved the Red Sox, and was a loyal friend. We grew apart, as school friends often do, but my parents were in touch with his and always kept me informed. He was a good man, and I'm sure he was a terrific husband and father. My sincere condolences.

Mary - The staff of the Bureau of Public Work, New York State Dept. of Labor, send their sincerest condolences and prayers to you and the boys. We did not know him but , in knowing you, we know he was a fine man and a loving spouse and father.

Mary,
I'm so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing. I got to know him when I worked on North St. in the late 80's and early 90's. He was always so much fun when he came in to deliver. My husband went to PHS with him and has fond memories of Pitch and Putt. My husband and I have been married for 24 years also and have two children, and I cannot imagine what you're going through. We were both so sad to hear of this. I will be praying for you and your boys and the rest of the Hoyle family.

The LORD is nigh to them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as are of a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:18

Dear Mary and sons,

May the healing touch of the Lord's Spirit be upon your heavy hearts during this hour of deep mourning.

Having moved away decades ago, I still recall fond memories of Kevin during our early years at work. May this be a testimony of the wonderful and whole person each of us had the pleasure to experience as co-workers and friends.

God Bless,
