McDermott, Kyle M. CASTLETON-ON-HUDSON Kyle M. McDermott, 24 of Castleton-on-Hudson, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at his residence. Kyle was born on September 22, 1997, in Albany, the son of Michael McDermott and Terri Romano. Kyle went to school, earned an A&P license, and worked for multiple airlines as a mechanic before moving on to a recent endeavor installing solar panels. Kyle was predeceased by his grandmother, Margaret Romano. Survivors include his parents, and his grandparents, Michael Romano, Margaret McDermott, and Henry McDermott. He is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his best friend, Devin Jukes. Relatives and friends are invited to his calling hours on Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. at the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home Inc., 165 Columbia Tpke., Rensselaer. The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kyle's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
