Lee Brenn Obituary

Brenn, Lee C.
CREVE COEUR, Miss. - Lee C. Brenn, 80, peacefully passed away on November 24, 2024, at Evelyn's House, in Creve Coeur, Miss., with his daughter and his beloved dog by his side.
Born in Schenectady in 1943, Lee was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy Brenn of Halfmoon. He graduated from Shenendehowa Central Schools in 1962, and served six years in the Army National Guard. Lee lived in Halfmoon for over 50 years and worked as a printer for more than three decades, including owning and operating Clifton Park Printing and Northway Printing. Later in life, he made a bold career change by purchasing an Adirondack bed-and-breakfast, attending the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y., and reopening the Inn at the Bridge in Northville, N.Y., which he operated for 11 years. Lee's final career chapter was as the Food Service Director for Northville Central Schools. He and his wife, Dot, retired to Travelers Rest Resort, in Dade City, Fla., in 2010.
Lee is survived by his daughters, Dianna Corrodore of Schenectady, N.Y., and Cheryl Brenn of Wildwood, Mo.; his two granddaughters, Evelyn Sacca (Warren) and Anastasia Rivera, both of Schenectady; his great-grandson, Evan Lee; and his cherished dogs, Teddy and Annabelle. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy "Dot," in January 2023; and his brother, Howard of Zephyrhills, Fla.
A Celebration of Life for both Lee and Dot Brenn is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15, from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Fairways of Halfmoon.

To his family, Lee was always such a sincere and friendly person to all. I can remember him as far back as grade school and his quiet smile as a young boy. In more recent years, he and Dot attended our Shenendehowa Class of 1962 events and we were pleased to know him once again. May you have wonderful family memories of both of them. Isabel

Lee was my cousin - his mother was my father's sister. While he was a couple of years older, our families grew up together. He was a great person and a great and fun relative. Family get-togethers were always eventful. He ran successful businesses and contributed to many organizations and causes over the years. From one of his follow-on businesses, he prepared a tremendous celebratory dinner for his aunt and uncle, my parents' 50th anniversary! You're now near your Dot and my Aunt Dorothy, Uncle Charlie, and Cousin Howard, so please rest in peace! Sue and I extend our sincerest condolences to all family, friends, and Dianna and Cheryl!

I knew Lee while we were in Explorer Scouts together, i.e., Post 28 in Clifton Park Center. No doubt Lee's outstanding commitment to the community was in some way influenced by the likes of George Gage, Foster Tinney, Ed Miller and Jim Keeler, who all led by example to "Help other people at all times! Rest in Peace, Lee!!! My heartfelt condolences go out to Lee's family & friends!
