To Renee and "DJ" and the family and friends of Lois M. Panetta,
It was not my privilege to have known DJ's mom personally, but if a child is a reflection of its parent, then she must have been a grand lady. I will never forget DJ's thoughtfulness when I cracked a rib while skiing at Okemo and had to be hospitalized in Rutland, VT. It was DJ who took custody of my ski equipment and took it to his father's liquor store in the Malta Mall for me to pick up when I was discharged from the hospital. It was a most gracious gesture on his part, and I can attribute his thoughtfulness to the upbringing he received at home.
