Marlene Dehner Obituary

Dehner, Marlene
CLIFTON PARK - Marlene Dehner of Clifton Park, N.Y., beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed peacefully from this world on July 16, 2025, leaving behind a symphony of beautiful memories that touched many lives. Born on August 12, 1945, in Taylor, Pa., Marlene was the daughter of Alex Bekanich and Edna (Marsh) Bekanich. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Dehner, with whom she recently celebrated 53 years of marriage; their children, Jeffrey (Mary Lou), Kevin (Tara), and Carolyn (Phillip Ortiz); seven beloved grandchildren; her brother, Ronald (Marjorie); and many close friends as she joins her brother, David, in eternal life. All who knew Marlene benefitted from her lifelong passions: family, music, and cooking. We invite you to read more about Marlene's life and legacy at catricalafunerhome.com. Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Catricala Funeral Home, followed immediately by a service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, as we remember Marlene's influence and immense presence, we humbly ask that those who wish to honor her do so by making a donation to CAPTAIN Community Human Services or the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
