Michael G. Clifford

Clifford, Michael G. EAST GREENBUSH Michael G. Clifford, 61, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Gerard V. and Jeanne Noble Clifford. He was a 1977 graduate of Catholic Central High School and a 1981 graduate of Union College. Michael had been employed for the past 30 years at Agilent Technologies of Palo Alto, Calif. as a scientific equipment sales representative. Prior to that he was employed at the New York State Police Crime Lab in Albany. Michael was a talented pianist; he enjoyed golf and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid supporter of Villanova University. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Joan Schrader Clifford; and his devoted son Gregory J. Clifford of East Greenbush. He was the brother of David V. Clifford (Nicole) of New Canaan, Conn., and Timothy S. Clifford (Lisa) of Guilderland. He was the brother-in-law of Michele and Robert Bouchey of Waterford and Donna Mullahey of Clifton Park; and uncle of Patrick Mullahey, Rachael Healey, Robby Bouchey, Harry, Casey, Christian and John Clifford. Also surviving is his canine companion, Lillian. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 6, at 9:15 a.m. from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford and at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine's Church in Lansingburgh. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, April 5, from 4-7 p.m. Per pandemic regulations, masks are required and social distancing and occupancy limitations observed.
