Michael DeLessio Obituary

DeLessio, Michael J. ALBANY Michael J. DeLessio, 69 of Albany, passed away after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis on October 16, 2022, at Shaker Place Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. He was born in Albany on July 2, 1953, to the late John and Mary DeLessio. Michael proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a sharp dresser who was full of life and enjoyed going to the Saratoga Racetrack. Michael held a compilation of many jobs throughout his life. He was adored by his nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Steven and John. Michael is survived by his siblings, Missy Rossi, Michelle (Bob) Rankin, and Timothy DeLessio (Susan Rambis); and his sister-in-law, Nancy (the late John DeLessio), as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 21, at 11 a.m. in St. Clare's Church. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY, 12208.
