Phelps, Paul G. NASSAU It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul G. Phelps, 76, on Sunday, August 8, 2021. He was the eldest of eleven siblings. He was also a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was the proud co-owner of Phelps Brothers Roofing Company along with his brother Ed. He is survived by his loving wife Sharren; son, Robert (Katie) Phelps; daughter, Beth (Renee Datto) Donnelly; and grandchildren, Justin and Kaylee Donnelly, Jacob and Mason Phelps. Paul also leaves behind his six sisters and three brothers, Pamela (William) Hendricks, Deborah Brehm, Mary (Mark Perrault) Bombard, Lynne (Thomas) Church, Kristine (Robert) Morris, Kimberly (Albert) Mancini, Edward (Susan) Phelps, David (Sally) Phelps and Robert (Barbara) Phelps. He was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Phelps. Calling hours for Paul will be held from 4-8 p.m. on August 12, at Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, Nassau. The funeral service will be held on Friday, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home and interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Nassau. A celebration of life will immediately follow at the Nassau Sportsman Club, 370 Boyce Rd., Nassau.
