DePaulo, Peter J. Jr. COLONIE Peter J. DePaulo Jr., 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 7, 2018, at St. Peter's Hospital, with his loving family by his side. Pete was the son of the late Peter DePaulo Sr. and Helen (Levitte) DePaulo. He was the devoted husband to Linda (BattiBulli) DePaulo. Pete proudly served with the United States Air Force. He retired from the Albany Police Department after 20 years of service as a traffic/motor officer and a member of the dive team. Pete was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. He was an avid sportsman. Pete was a hunting safety instructor with the DEC, past president of the Guan Ho Ha Fish and Game Club and dedicated board member of the Voorheesville Rod and Gun Club. We know Heaven got one hell of a sportsman. Pete is survived by his wife, Linda; and his children, Gina (Kevin Laraway) DePaulo, Jason (Julie) DePaulo and Nichole (Matthew) Bolen. He was the adored grandfather of Adrianna, Anthony, Jackson, Ava, Jase, Isaac and Isaiah. He is also survived by a brother and sister. Devoted uncle to Megan, Christopher and Josh Stangle. Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 12, at New Comer Cremations & Funeral, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 13, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
