I lived on Rita Court, two doors down from the Gregorys. I was in elementary school when Peter joined the Navy and when he came back on leave, he brought me a Navy tunic and a Navy cap. He had to do all sorts of horse trading to get them in my size. I remember we walked down to Slingerlands Elementary and he and I did various PT activities including climbing a 20 foot high baseball backstop - going over the top. I was 10 years old. I think that's the first time I remember an adult treating me as a person and not a child. To this day, I remember the feeling I had when I completed the half dozen drills. I grew up that day. Peter Gregory, thank you.

Peter was a Brother Mason. We travelled the Albany Masonic District several years. I followed him throughout when he was President of the Albany Masters and Wardens Association as well when we had the District Degree Team. Peter was a true gentleman, a friend and Brother. RIP my Brother. SMIB

Peter was one of the first people my wife and I met when we moved from Pennsylvania to Delmar. He was a fellow Mason and a good friend.

Peter and I volunteered together at the American Legion. I'll always remember his infectious smile and kind spirit. He had a gift for making everyone he spoke with feel better about themselves and life in general. A good friend, he touched so many lives and will be truly missed.

I will fondly remember Pete as a good friend and shipmate. It was always pleasurable being around Pete. Semper Fi my friend.
