I've known Pete for 10+ years, just from going into his store in Slingerlands. We always talked about the horses. He always had a smile. I've gone out of my way in mornings to go to his store, because of him, personally, and his long time team. You could always tell that he truly cared about the people around him. Pete made my mornings better, and I'm sure the same can be said for so many other folks. Miss you.

How could I ever imaged that from day 1 we met at Grandmas Flower that a beautiful friendship would last though all theses years. We have supported each other through life´s ups and downs.
Our friendship is one of many hours of laughter, sharing stories, phone calls, and times we spent together.
Thank you for all the laughter and happiness you brought into my life.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Peter. My prayers and condolences to the family. He will be in my thoughts. Many times traveled up to Saratoga Harness track to watch the trotters. Many happy times in the winners circle with our friend Bernie. Memories of Secretariat & Nashua his favorite thoroughbreds. Rest in Peace Peter. Your buddy, Joe.
