EAST GREENBUSH - Robert C. MacFarland, 79, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Albany Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was born in Albany, N.Y., the son of the late Lloyd and Verna (Wagner) MacFarland.
Bob enjoyed collecting and restoring classic cars and antique radios. During his lifetime, he participated in classic car flea markets and radio shows. He had an innate ability to restore these beautiful antiques and always was willing to share his vast knowledge with his family and friends.
He was a State communications Tech at the Electronic Communications Unit (ECU) for NYS for many years.
Survivors include his brothers, Gary (Nicole) MacFarland, and Brian (Diane) MacFarland; niece, Meghan (Brian) Judd; nephews, Matthew (Shannon) MacFarland, Michael MacFarland, and Jared MacFarland; several grandnephews, a grandniece, and dear friends.
A private family Burial will be held in the spring.
