I have known Bob for many years through my work at the Golub Corp. I am very saddened by his passing. Bob was a true gentleman who was always ready with a warm smile and greeting. His reputation was that of a great human being and he was well liked by all who knew him. The last time I saw Bob was at a store opening for Price Chopper a few years back. He was walking with the use of a cane and was glad to still be able to get out and around. We spoke very briefly about his illness and he appeared to be very stoic and brave and just happy to be out seeing people. I have thought often of Bob since that time and always hoped that he would get through this terrible disease as bravely as possible. I send peace and love to Bob and his family.
