It's hard to put my thoughts into words. Ron never lacked for words. He was intelligent, stubborn, witty, cranky, caring, opinionated, humble and supportive. I will miss seeing him in the flag line and at other Veterans events, I will miss the phone calls at work, cussing about one thing or another. As we rode in the funeral procession today, and I saw the line of bikes and cars in front of us, people stopped at the lights with their hands over their hearts, head bowed, or saluting, I was amazed. Ron would have been one of the first people to have done that for someone he didn't know. I will miss him.
